For the past two week the students have enjoyed the beautiful sound of crickets chirping throughout the day. Mrs. Robson brought in a cricket habitat which the students have spent many endless hours observing.

| The students were very enthusiastic about learning everything there is to know about crickets. We discussed and webbed information about cricket appearance, habitat, enemies, food, young, and interesting facts. The students created their own Cricket Information books and recorded what they knew, what they learned from researching books, and what they observed from the Cricket habitat. |

| The students wrote their inquiry questions about crickets on the magnifying glasses. Then they sought out the answers in books and wrote the answers on the inside of the magnifying glasses. |
